Important
Note
Metal objects or power-lines in your vicinity can deviate the compass
needle. Strong magnetic fields can in some circumstances even reverse the
polarity. Therefore, it is important to check your compass periodically.
Small bubbles in the liquid are of no importance. They may appear and
disappear with changes of temperature and air pressure.
